summer's National Convention

will provide space in his great shop/restoration facility and the WWII
jeep Guidebook
will provide pizza for everyone.

A special video presentation of Craig Cakouros' museum talk will begin
at 12:00 noon - don't miss it!
Turn left onto Ross Road ( approx 1/2 mile ) if you see the High school
on
your left, you have gone past Ross Road!
Turn left at traffic light onto Route 1 north
Turn right at next traffic light onto River Road
Go straight thru 4 way stop ( after you stop of course )
Go straight thru 3 way stop ( I assume you will stop here also )
Go approx 1 mile, your destination is on the right ( large 2 tone gray
building) the drive way is just before the building,
door is at the back - you can turn around in the second driveway if you
miss the first one.

Point Beach
will provide display space for vehicles, picnic tables in the
shade or sun, beautiful surroundings and lots of amenities. (see their
website for more information)
WWII
jeep Guidebook
will provide grilled hot dogs for members.
Vehicles will be on public display from 11:00am until 3:00pm
FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-95 to I-295 through Portland and follow I-295
all the way to Exit 31(Topsham). Take Exit 31 to Rt 196 EAST.
Stay on 196 EAST to Rt 1 EAST towards Bath. Take the first exit
off of Rt 1 towards Cook's Corner and Rt 24. Go straight through
the intersection and follow Rt 24 about one and a half miles to Board
Rd. on the left. Turn left on Board Rd. Go about a half mile and
then turn left onto Meadow Rd. Go about a half mile and see Thomas
Point Beach entrance on the right.
FROM THE NORTH: Directions are the same as above except use EXIT 31A
from I-295. This will put you on Rt 196 EAST. Follow above
directions from that point.
Trailer off-loading:
Once you enter the park, travel a few hundred
feet to the first left. Turn left and follow this road around a
sweeping curve to the right. You will see a faint two-rut road
across
the lawn that goes off to the left and passes through an opening in a
stone wall. Take this two-rut road through the stone wall to the
equipment storage field beyond. This is a good place to off load
trailers, etc. I will be running a shuttle between our display
area
and the equipment field with Sweetpea to carry chairs, etc. The
display area is in the middle of the loop road shown near the beach on
the Google Map.

Belgrade Maine in the beautiful Belgrade Lakes region. Don't
miss
this fabulous first-time event where we hope to assemble ALL
award-winning vehicles in one place for some great photo
opportunities...
Barbeque,

vehicles in
the United States all in one place for one afternoon!

Directions: Take
Interstate 95 exit # 112B to
Rt 27 towards Belgrade. Stay
on Rt27 for 14.2 miles to
Belgrade Lakes village and look for the lot with the house foundation
on the RH side of the road in the center of the settlement.
This
lot with the foundation is the RALLY SITE, pull right in if you are
driving your MV. This village is a busy spot with many parked
cars and lots of pedestrian traffic, so be careful.
If
you need to unload your
trailer, then continue 0.7 mile PAST the rally site. Watch for a sign
on the RH side of the road for "Windover at Great Pond"
subdivision. Turn onto the subdivision road and travel for
0.3
miles and look for the gravelled parking area on the LEFT. DO
NOT
block boats or trailer already in the parking area (owners request).
